Concert and Cake for the Community

22 October 2014 by admin

Concert and Cake for the CommunityEveryone is invited to join us for an evening of music with friends and neighbours at a special fundraising event for Farmborough Community Shop on Saturday 8 November at Farmborough All Saints Church, starting at 7.30pm (doors open from 6.30pm).

The evening will include a variety of music and song, from the ‘Sweet Chilli Trio (in four parts)’, who will be performing some sing-a-long numbers to commemorate the First World War, the Kennet and Avon Handbell Ringers, musicians from Bath Spa University, plus Rick Fitzsimmons performing a number of songs, including a little Gilbert and Sullivan.

Tickets can be bought in advance by contacting us or on the door. £8 for adults £5 for children under 14, which includes a free drink. There will also be nibbles, cake and drinks to purchase during the interval, along with a raffle.

Displays about the shop will also be on view around the church, and we would encourage all visitors to take a look and ask any questions about our progress and the share offer.
