Many thanks to all those who came for an evening of ‘Concert and Cake for the Community’ on Saturday 8 November at All Saints Church.
The audience was treated to popular classics, through folk, jazz, showtunes and even a wartime sing-along, brought to life by The Bath Spa Wind Quartet, The Kennet and Avon Handbell Ringers, The Sweet Chilli Trio, and Rick Fitzsimmons (accompanied by Chris Knight).
We are very grateful to them for giving up their time to entertain everyone so wonderfully, as a great night was had by all!
Many thanks also go to Pat Beaumont and co. for providing cakes, which went down very quickly during the interval.
In total the concert made over £400 for the community shop, but we still have some way to go to raise at least £50,000 from people investing in shares.
Please complete the application form that you received with your prospectus and return it to: Phil Gray (Treasurer), Farmborough Community Shop, 64 The Batch, BA2 0AJ to make sure the shop becomes a reality!
