What will happen if we don’t raise enough money through shares?

12 November 2014 by

If we don’t meet our minimum target of £50,000, then we will hold a meeting of all investors and present options for the members to vote upon, including the option to abandon the project. If you want a shop, invest at least £10 before 19 December, but please consider investing more!

What’s the difference between donating money and buying shares?

12 November 2014 by

A donation is like a gift, it does not allow for a say in the direction of the shop and carries no right to be returned. Buying shares is similar to a long-term loan, but you will be able to vote on shop issues as a member, plus you can request the return of your investment in the future (please refer to our prospectus and website for full details).

Is the shop just for members?

12 November 2014 by

No. The shop will be open to and for the whole community. Members will have the added benefit of having a say in the running and development of the shop.

How to find us

We are located on Little Lane, Farmborough, BA2 0AH, behind Farmborough Memorial Hall.

To access the shop, arrive at Farmborough Memorial Hall car park, walk through the gate to the right of the hall, across the patio and you will find us in the timber-clad building to the rear of the hall.
