COVID Update – July 2020

27 July 2020 by admin

Thank you for your continued loyalty and support during these past months.

We want to reassure our customers that we’re continuing to do everything we can to keep you and our staff safe while providing our service to the community.

We’re regularly cleaning, we’ve installed a protective screen at the counter and we’ve made personal protective equipment (PPE) available to all our staff.

There have been continual updates from Government over the past few weeks, and we want to share our approach with you in light of the latest guidance.

Face coverings
All customers, apart from children under 11 and those who have reasonable cause, such as a health condition, disability, physical or mental impairment, should wear a face mask, scarf or other covering. Not all exemptions are visible, so please be understanding of other shoppers.

Our staff will be wearing face coverings (where they are not exempt), when they are in areas where two-metre social distancing cannot be achieved, or where other measures, such as screens, are not present.

Social distancing
Customers and staff are requested to continue to keep two-metre distant from people who are not in their household, wherever possible.

Hand sanitising
We have provided hand sanitiser for use by all customers and we request it is used by everyone when entering and leaving the store.

Number of customers in-store
We are still only allowing one customer in the store at a time, to help everyone maintain two-metre distancing.

Vulnerable/shielding customers or those experiencing COVID symptoms
Customers wishing to visit the store but who are either vulnerable, shielding, or experiencing COVID-symptoms within the past 14 days, are requested not to visit the shop. We can take payment over the phone and arrange delivery to your door, so please email us or call 01761 471 811 between 1 pm and 5 pm.

We hope these measures reassure you that we take the safety of customers and staff very seriously. Thank you for your patience and support in these challenging times. We look forward to seeing you in our shop soon.
